Temporary Registration


Temporary Registration

  • Temporary registration is granted to expatriates upon fulfillment of criteria of the council
  • Nationals are also granted with temporary registration under certain circumstances

Procedure

  1. The applicant shall fill and sign temporary registration form ( available on https://www.bmhc.gov.bt/download-forms-2/)
  2. The applicant shall read and declare the code of professional fidelity ( affix legal stamp and sign on it)
  3. Produce 1 recent passport size photo
  4. Have 2 legal stamps

Document checklist

The following documents should be furnished;

  1. Invitation letter/ official letter from Ministry of Health or other relevant agencies in Bhutan as an evidence of job offer/ acceptance.
  2. Curriculum Vitae
  3. Notarized copy of a qualification to be registered ( should be marked true copy of the original from the notary office)
  4. Evidence of current registration with a licensing/ registration authority in your home country
  5. Evidence of Good standing from the registration authority (not more than 6 months old)
  6. Evidence of work experience in the specialty (minimum 3 years’ experience in the specialty is mandatory)
  7. Police certificate ( not more than 3 months old)
  8. Notarized copy of passport

Fees

Bachelors’ degree and above: Nu 5000/-

Diploma level qualification: Nu 1000/-

Certificate level qualification: Nu. 500/-

How long will the registration process take place?

The verification process may take from 1 week to a month depending on the case

Validity: 1 year or contract period
