Pursuant to amendment of clause 22.3.1 of ‘the Bhutan Medical & Health Council Regulation -2005’, the Bhutan Medical and Health Council hereby notifies that in order to pursue MBBS undergraduate training program, the minimum entry qualification requirement of a prospective candidate shall be a minimum of 50% marks in each of Science subjects (Biology, Physics and Chemistry) and English in class 12 board examination OR has passed 3 years of ‘pre-medical’ course at the university level in case of entry to medical school without basic science. Therefore all the individuals seeking admissions to MBBS course with effect from 2013 session shall comply with this notification.

Those pursuing MBBS degree; herein after this notification without fulfilling the above set criteria will not be eligible for registration of their MBBS degree with the Council. Please note that BMHC is not responsible for scholarship or admission to any institute or university.
